Most military 50 BMG brass has a crimped primer pocket intended to secure the primer. This crimp can cause problems during the reloading process. Which is where this tool comes in.
This tool is used for cutting a clean and uniform primer pocket. However, it will remove the chamfer on the leading edge, so you will need to re-chamfer the primer pocket after the reaming operation. Our Magnum Deburring tool is a great choice.
