Case Head Swage Dies

Case Head (base) Swage diese are used to reduce the diameter of the case head (base). This operation requires a lot of force and therefore requires a strong press. Each case head swage die can achieve a maximum of .005" reduction per die.

This process works well with rimless cases because the entire case can be pushed through the die.

For rimmed cases, there is some shaving of material from the case head which requires some clean-up at the front of the rim.
